Yep, I just returned from taking a short trip with my husband on his ship so I have a few photos to share with you . My trip will be documented shortly on my website once I catch up with things around home! :o)

This shot was taken from the bridge of his ship looking towards Lake Erie in the background. The ship just finished transiting the welland canal and is in the process of changing pilots. Salt water ships require pilots to transit through the canal. This ship was TRAMPER and was from the BIG LIFT company and for sure it did have big lifts on deck he was heading for Detroit. The pilot on board the tug boat climbs the ladder that you see hanging down the ships side and once in the pilot house the pilot there heads down and goes down the ladder to the tug boat . All this is done while the ship is still underway.
