Sometimes animals in captivity seem to show despair and hopelessness. That is what I saw today when photographing
this Lowland Gorilla at Riverbanks Zoo. He just had that thousand mile stare. Maybe I'm wrong. What do you think?

I decided to repost this one and try to improve on some of the issues fellow members commented on. The levels were adjusted. Thanks to all.

It was hard but iat least i remove the impression of light interference. But it need many effect.
First it consist a problem of light i go to the Light/shadows adjustement of Photoshop CS2.. As i pass to that version recently i had to do many test... I reduce already but not enough. So i go give a bit of saturation... adjust more contrast less light and readjust the sharpness in the edge. There was a mask of overlay in the colors too!
I believe a made he appear more face to face.
Hope you like it!
