 My Daffydillys (18) LCannon
(2319) | These are from my garden. I've always called these Daffodills, but on reading up on these they can be called several different things. For this photo I held the camera down on the border wood and tilted it up toward these flowers. Adjusted levels and resized is all the PP I did.
About the Daffys (from Botany.com)
"The name Daffodil is commonly given to the Narcissus with large trumpets, but may be used for all types. The name Jonquil most properly belongs to the rush-leaved Narcissus jonquilla and its hybrids. In some parts of North America, it's used as a common name for all types of Narcissi." |
