I discovered this idyllic pond just last evening and had to take some pictures of it.
When the pond was first created by the damming of the river in the 1830s, it was surrounded by several thriving industries. Today, the Mill Pond itself is home to a flock of mallard ducks (including one albino duckling) a few Canada geese, and a very aggressive little swan family.

Tech: shot in RAW, converted to jpg, resized for TL without cropping and sharpened

Thanks for looking and enjoy the weekend.

In photoshop CS
Image menu - to adjustments - to Hue/Saturation
- boosted overall saturation around 20.
- boosted yellows another 20 and adjusted their hue to the green about 6
- boosted reds (after sampling your flower with the eye dropper) and magentas also about 20 more.

just my thoughts on it. I always have a devil of a time with where the green tones should/did sit.

take care,

John
