Chichester Cathedral (18)

I was meeting a friend for lunch in Chichester and s I was an hour early to meet her I wandered into Chichester Cathedral. The lovely ladies who look after the Cathedral said I could take photos so I took a few shots. I'm not used to taking interior shots so I found the light quite challenging.

Taken using the Sigma 10-20mm lens at F22

------------------------------------------------------
The history of Chichester Cathedral begins in 681 when Saint Wilfred brought Christianity to Sussex and established a Cathedral in Selsey, a small community south of Chichester. After 1066 the Norman policy was that cathedrals should be moved from small communities to larger centres of population. In 1075 the Council of London established the See of Chichester and in 1076 the building of the present cathedral in Chichester was begun under Bishop Stigand. It was completed under Bishop Luffa in time for its consecration to the Holy Trinity in 1108.

Hello, Karan,

Just a little work in the basic Photoshop Elements 2. I rotated it 1 degree to the left and cropped it a little. Then, using the clone stamp, got rid of that wire flex and plug on the lectern, sharpened it a little and added a very small and simple frame.

I hope you're not offended.

Kind Regards,

John.
