Treklens we are in Torremolinos, Spain ..
during the FERIA ((Fair)

This is a very important week for the inhabitant of this region.

The 'normal' persons ..like you and I.. are getting dressed up in there best outfit to meet in the streets of Torremolinos and Malaga.

Here some Lady friends have *a snack and a beer*
(The beer is San Miguel and I can say its excellent)
Sometimes, out of the blue, a group starts singing hand clpping and foot tapping wich results in a spontane sort of 'do it your self Flamingo Dance'

Torremolinos Feria (Fair)

When: Last week in September

The festival of San Miguel Arcángel takes place during the last week in September, coinciding with the celebration of the Santo Patrón on September 29th.

The annual Feria takes place in the town centre, and moves to the El Pozuelo Feria grounds at night.

The Festival of San Miguel begins a week before a Romería that is considered to be one of the most important in Andalucía.

More than 200,000 people gather together every year in the Los Manantiales pine woods to dance, sing and have a good time on the Día de San Miguel.
