The ore runs into the building you see on the left and is ground by the millstone. The ore comes down the mountain about 1/4 mile. I went to b/w-sepia for this shot to preserve the 'image' of past histories. I'm posting the color version in workshop. I think it's more of a 'nature photo' than of historical mining.
pp-convert to sepia after sizing, then sharpen up a bit. I also straightened it with a light crop.
