The sluice with the juice (13)

I'm putting up a photo of the sluice that feeds the millstone of this old mine. The ore runs into the building you see on the left and is ground by the millstone. The ore comes down the mountain about 1/4 mile. I went to b/w-sepia for this shot to preserve the 'image' of past histories. I'm posting the color version in workshop. I think it's more of a 'nature photo' than of historical mining.

pp-convert to sepia after sizing, then sharpen up a bit. I also straightened it with a light crop.

You can view the original in a workshop.

This is to compare with the sepia one. I thought they both had merit, though.
