Workshop Note
This is just a very small area of the trees where the spiders had commandeered and set up their webs.

Spider webs are a well-known technique to catch preys. They come in very different shapes and sizes. Some are horizontal sheets of silk, with the spider either on top or hanging underneath. Some are beautiful orb webs, or are dome-shaped, or a combination of both. Some webs seem just like unorganised tangles, and are not as sticky as other types of web.
