To Vandana - Steaming On The Bridge (64)

I lamentated a lot what to send to my Lady friend Vandana2923, when some of her words came into my mind she wrote in a critique: "I especially like your train shots". So, here it is: a train to Vandana! Vanny, I hope You like it.
I've done the photo in February, but haven't published yet. Of course this little steam locomotive works on State Forest Railway Of Lillafüred, a nice 760 millimeter-gauge privatbahn in the Bükk mountains. More info about this cute steam locomotive here, below one of my first photos uploaded to TrekLens.
On this photo she ("Lilla" is a female name in the Hungarian language) is just going on the 64 meters high bridge over Mély-völgy ("Deep Valley"), closed to a small village named Alsóhámor (officially a part of Miskolc), with a special course.
PP: cropping, sharpening, partial desaturation, antic effect (soft sepia), layer duplication, "accented edges" effect; cutting Lilla, the carriages and the smoke off of the mask, framing, signing, re-sizing.
I sent this photo (just today) to a Hungarian Railway Photo Contest, into "Side-lines and Nature" category, so I hope the best... From 11th of December all photos, which were sent to the contest may be seen here, on this website, and the announcement of result will be on 11th of January, 2008. I also contested with THIS photo in "Dying Side-lines" and THIS in "Side-lines And Human" categories. So please cheer me if You like these shots...
Note update 10th of December: for the request of dpbours, k-2 and WMcK some more technical infos. You can see the unmodified version as a workshop. At first I worked in full color - made simple PP like optimal contrast, saturation, exposure correction, brightness etc. Than cropped the guys off of the bottom, and did the other PP You can read above.
