 The bell ringer (16) Dingo
(11948) | On top of the west side transept of the St-Peter church in Leuven, this guilded bell ringer stands proudly, enjoying the late afternoon sun - as I did ;o)
I was lucky here: with the right lens mounted, on the right spot at the right time, with the setting sun directly on the statue and the bell.
I offer two more views, an overview and a close-up.
Tech talk
Straightened and corrected a slight perspective distortion.
Levels.
Downsized for TL as per usual with a PS action: adjusted resolution, downsized in a couple of steps, sharpened slightly and lowered resolution again.
Added a small frame, again with a self-recorded PS action. |

(11948) An overview Edited by:Dingo
(11948) |
| An overview of the statue and the facade of the west transept with the giant clock. Wonderfully hit by the soft sunlight, just used levels and curves for a slight contrast and saturation boost. Still, pretty much as it came out of the camera. |

(11948) Close-up by crop Edited by:Dingo
(11948) |
| Just cropped the original heavily to emphasize the statue and the bell, then downsized in one step to 760 px, sharpened very subtly and added a small frame. |
