My December-1 (6)

This is inspired by my friend MARK25's post, titled "MY DECEMBER". I am on vacation in Islamabad. Had a chance to visit a relative in Rawalpindi living in a really old house. This lamp with broken bulb caught my attention. Shot with Canon 5D in RAW. Processed in Adobe Lightroom. Converted to B&W using the saturation of -100 for all colors (Desaturate preset was created earlier for this). Then played with the luminance to get the feel I like. Finally used the split toning to get a classical B&W tint. Lens vignetting was deliberatelly added to enhance the mood.I have posted the same lamp shot from a different angle and very slight difference in the tint while using the split toning. Let me know which one you like more. My preference is mentioned in the note with the workshop photo.

This is the same lamp from another angle. Used a similar processing technique as in the original photo but gave it a different tint while using the Split toning in Adobe Lightroom. I like the rusty look in this one but like the angle and composition in the first one. I wish I could get rusty old look that I got in this picutre in the first one.
