in the deep fog (18) noborders
(724) | In the hills about 40 km from Araku valley (Vizag area, north AP), I spent a wonderful day in a deep, dense fog... It was raining for the whole afternoon, in the end only my torso remained more or less dry, never was so soaking wet for so many hours, but it was great fun.
Specially early in the morning, all the persons met in this small village (Dhumku, where I rented a hut for 2 days) were like surprising, surreal apparitions, suddleny there and quicklly disappearing in the fog : absolutely enchanting, even if uncomfortable !
But I need to learn more about PP, having all a series of photos from that day. On purpose, I left a bit of the haze but this version certainly does not satisfy me entirely... Your advice is welcome, what do you think of the light here ?
(I've posted another photo of that same small group on TE, a bit less hazy because they are closer... ). |

... The map of India with its different states, the portrait of Gandhi adorned with old marigold garlands, and India's "heroes" in the popular imagination : Ambedkar, Nehru, Gandhi, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and Indira Gandhi.

(I know, nothing to do with the original post : this is about another post coming very soon, where I'll try to describe the life in the village schools in the tribal areas of north Andhra Pradesh... It'll be useful then ; I'm trying to give as many informations as I can - sorry) |
