You have the most beautiful views from this bridge to the houses on the Noordereiland, to the other famous Rotterdam bridge 'the Erasmus' and further on to the harbour and the cranes.
The wind or storm (not rain) is actually always nice, because it seems to come freely over the water. And at night, the river is so dark and beautiful.........and I can go on like that for a while.
This is a picture I could not upload on TE, because there was too much post-processing involved. I was just playing a bit in PS to improve my skills,and suddenly there was this one. With the magnetic lassotool I copied the bridge on a second layer, saturated the red a bit, and the other layer I desatured all the colors. After that I have done something with I think 'replace color', but I am unable to reproduce it again somehow. But the sky turned into something very dramatic, and I liked the result. I hope you like it too. |
