Here is another look at the Spray Lakes Reservoir. This one looks north while the first one looks south.
Sunsets in the mountains can be stunning but I have not yet figured out how to deal with the shadows properly when a graduated filter of an odd shape is actually what is needed. I have entered the coordinates so you can see where this is.

I worked most in shadow/highlight option. But please look further than the standard screen. Open the advanced options dialog box!!

Shadows, amount 24%, 73% tonal width, 30 pix radius
Highlights, 26%, 89% tonal width, 30 pix radius
Color correction adjustment +33
Midtone contrast +20
black clipping 2%
White clipping 4%

Then some Velvia Vision plugin, to just punch up the dynamic range and a bit of colour contrast.
