Bowling Ball Beach (10)

I spent last weekend visiting southern Mendocino county taking in Manchester State Beach and another favorite, Bowling Ball Beach just south of Point Arena, Ca.
The tide was at a good place to capture the "bowling balls" and moving water. So I used my mini tripod and Hoya ND400 filter. This filter reduces the light down 9 stops and allows you to shoot long shutter speeds (20 seconds in this case) in broad daylight. Thanks goes to Nemeth for his work with the ND400. As it inspired me to get one too!
