Abstract Symmetry

Thanks Helen, I’ve had fun playing around with filters and colours.

And I’ve finally come up with this item. It is a dead Poor Knights Lily, a native plant of New Zealand found only growing on the Poor Knights Islands in the north of the North Island of NZ.

Check out the workshop for the original. POOR KNIGHTS LILY

What have I done to it?

I cropped with Photoshop CS2
Then I used the filters from Flaming Pear using Zephyr and Wavy Colour
Then with Paint Shop Pro X I used the filter Rotating Mirror

I think that was it.

I HOPE YOU LIKE IT

Janice

P.S. Sweety reminded me that this is my 800th posting on TrekLens.

The Poor Knights lily is a flax like plant with large bottlebrush flowers that grow horizontally. Bright red flowers grow upward from the stalk, with bright orange pollen.

See the flower is now dead.
