 Nessun dorma... (70) spacebar
(974) | A picture where I tried to show how deep a look can be.
In my opinion my model (my daughter Flaminia) has an extraordinarily good eye contact with the camera, being able to get in touch with any viewer.
I have been often thaught that she can open and hide her soul in the same time, and eyes are "soul's mirror" as proverb says...
TECH.: resized,cropped, added a bit contrast and sharpen.
In the workshop, the unchanged version.
My mood: performed by Andrea Bocelli, from Puccini's "Turandot" - Nessun dorma

These are the things I've done in this pp;
1) Used the Shadows/Highlights function to reduce the the light in the left side of the face and also eliminating the sharp shadow at the edge of the cheek. This also lightened up the right side of the face. Sorry, I didn't take notes on the meter readings.
2) I then used the dodge and burn tools to selectively lighten or darken areas of the face.
3) Used the sharpen tool to add a little light to the eyes.
4) I also used the clone function to get rid some of the small blemishes.
5) I then reduced the noise to smoothen the skin.
Hope you like it. |

Applied some sharpening overall ,then proceeded to tone down your model's left side in reducing brightness , in the next step i applied some brightness on her right 'less exposed to light' side with the dodge tool attempting to get a more even illumination but in the right measure i think i hope,,,,lol,
Thank you for allowing me to post a workshop of your photo ,
My kindest regards ,Carol |
