Not specially cuddly, that's what this other boy seemed to express (nobody could speak any English) : he handled the puppy in a strange way, picked him from the floor and then let him just fall down... But this was a small boy so it was not that high ; the villagers did not seem particularly cruals towards their animals but another way to deal with them...
