This is the roof of Canterbury Cathedral. I thought I would try a different view to the normal cathedral shots. This is a single exposure so there are bright lights and dark shadows but I quite liked the change in light from one side of the roof to the other.

It is not my usual type of posting but I hope you like it.

MUSK OX FOR KARAN
Edited by:pablominto Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Star Workshop Editor/Gold Note Writer [C: 5735 W: 536 N: 5987] (27446)

This afternoon I was so lucky to come across two musk oxes, the bad luck was I brought only the kit lens…

These animals belongs to the only musk oxes living in wild in Europe, located at Dovrefjell, Norway.

Photographed across a narrow valley leading down from the plateau where they normally stay, probably seeking lower places to find fresh food or possibly for having a calf.

And let me add, they are probably the most dangerous animals living in mainland Norway!

Photographers seem to be the favourite victims, not long ago a German lady was killed as she tried to go too close for a better point of view…
