Corfe and the DOF

A kind of experiment today.

You might have wondered what I was shooting in this picture posted by Silke. Well I was trying to make a picture of the nice town of Corfe in Dorset, with a huge DOF, using the Sigma 18-50mm lens together with the Cokin gradual grey filter I took several shots with different camera settings. This one appeared to me as one of the best, but I’m curious about your opinion. The camera settings were here: Focal length 34mm, shutterspeed: 1/45sec and f/11.

In the WS you find another impression from the same POV.

PP work:
Shot in RAW. Minor adjustment of brightness and contrast. Cropped, resized and converted to JPEG, sharpened add frame and text.

Decisions....decisions…. finally I chose for the one in the white frame. Here the camera settings are different too. Shutter speed 1/60 and f/9.5 as aperture. Which image do you prefer?
