This place was really more of a courtyard than a garden, but the "decor" was done by a professional and well worth showing off:)
I have been trying to learn how to do a good "Orton effect"...so this is one of my practice results.
PP: standard RAW adjustments, gaussian blur layer, raised saturation, blending mode darken, resized, added border.
Follow-up note: I posted the untouched original in a workshop for comparison. Seems I may have overdone the saturation eh? Must have been in one of those "extreme" moods again:) Feel free to say what you really think...hehe. |

| As requested, here is the original, prior to "Ortonizing"...or practice anyway. I went for much more saturation in the pp'd version, probably too much, but was fascinated with the effects. Still practicing:) |
