Worcester Cathedral (26)
WhiteKnight
(7704)
A view of Worcester Cathedral, taken from the north-east.. The cathedral site has been in existance since 680AD, however the oldest surviving parts of the current cathedral are the 10th century crypts underneath ground level. Construction of the current cathedral started in the 12th and 13th centuries... A lot of history here.
It is truly a magnificent building. The old King John of England is also buried within the cathedral. if you're in this part of the UK then Worcester is well worth a visit.
As to the image - a combined HDR of 2 exposures, then the sky was cut and pasted from a 3rd image. Hope you like this one...

Hi David, I'm still at the learning stages of photofiltre, but I did add more contrast to liven up this magnificent cathedral. Sky and tree may be a bit bright, but I like the effect on the Cathedral. Hope you don't mind a variation... :D Lisa
