More playing with my macro lens and objects found around the house. This one is a book jacket, altered with additional post-processing.

PP: standard RAW adjustments, gradient map/difference layer for color changes/effects, resized, added border layer with gradient and shadow effect.

This is another version with extra pp work for a more abstract look and different colors. I used a duplicate copy at 50% overlay, tilted and moved it for a different angle, and played with gradient map layers for the color changes. Two stroke lines were applied for a simple border.

Note: I originally posted this as a separate image a day after the red one, believing I had used one of my extra shots of this macro subject. I later double-checked the exif data and found that I had gotten my files mixed up (duh!) and inadvertently used the same original for both versions. So now this workshop contains the variation (my favorite of the two). Embarrassing, but situation resolved:)
