:-) On Europe's mainland we cannot imagine this being "highway no. 1"...
But... it is!!!
Part of Iceland's highway no. 1 is still not "paved".
Mind you, it's not a bad road, but one must be careful driving there.
I really love the view from this small hill, with the water and the threatening clouds in the distance...
:-) we didn't have rain that day! not that day ;-)

Leveled the horizon, cropped and added just a bit of saturation.

P.s.: For those who'd like to see: I have a picture in the WS of my laundry hanging out to dry in the car...
Especially for "Carol50", who will leave for Iceland soon!

Specially for Carol!
This was our own car... cost us quite a bit to take it on the ferry, but it sure beat the cost of renting a car... Besides, we could take our own camping gear with us, which made the stay a bit cheaper... and colder... and more wet.. hhahahaahahah
