I took a shot of this little girl in this amazing hat with a view to using it just this way :)
I did not have permission to take a picture of this little one, but by keeping her completely anonymous and totally sexless, I am trying to show how one might capture a childhood image without betraying our responsibilities as photographers and members of our communities.
Tech: Captured in raw and adjusted levels, contrast & saturation in raw with PhotoShop CS2, converted to jpg, selected red in Hue and Saturation and converted it to green by moving the hue slider over to the right (because the pink shirt and the red stars clashed [see original in the workshop]) resized, sharpened, framed and signed
