Flowers below the fireplace mantle….

Whenever I go to Yorkshire I stay with my friend Sarah and Muriel.
In the English tradition, fresh flowers are always placed in the guest bedrooms. This lovely bouquet, chosen from the farmers market was waiting for me.
The bedroom had recently been decked out in Laura Ashley—paint, drapes and pillows and was looking stunning.
The fireplace is quite fancy with all the Victorian style detail....and is very crooked as the house is very old and no wall is plumb. The fireplace is no longer in use so is a perfect spot to place flowers.
In the WS I have posted a shot of the newly decorated bedroom. Very classy!

The bedroom has been newly refurbished with paint, Laura Ashley curtains and a fancy new duvet cover and pillows. Very bright and charming.
