historical German farmhouse (2)

This is a typical historic farm house in northern Germany. Actually those houses had a thatched roof, but unluckily, many owners tend to change the roof due to high costs in fire insurances and when repairing the roof. These houses were built as combined living house and stall. One third of it usually was for living, the other two thirds were used as a stable. In the foreground you get a hint of the stone fence that surrounds this place.

Any critiques, workshops or advice are welcome.

Thanks for having a look, Heike
