This is where the river Tweed and it's tributary the river Teviot merge and is a very good place for salmon fishing. The town in the background is Kelso which has an abbey the stones of which were supposedly plundered from a similar building in or around Selkirk.

I've straightened out the horizon by rotating it about 2 degrees counterclockwise. I then cropped it to take some of the foreground out, and used the brush tool on low opacity and overlay mode to darken the top of the sky just slightly. Hope you like it =D
