Every year there's a Balloon Race in Reno, Nevada. It's always the first part of September. The early morning is lite up with the Dawn Patrol, lighting the morning sky up with their beautiful fire light. You can walk around the field as the pilots and their teams lay out and prepare to inflate their balloons. It's absolutely amazing to see these several hundred balloons filling the sky.

Sharpened one to many times... darn.

first i amended the noise in the sky with filter>blur>surface blur>radius 4 and threshold 2 (Photoshop)
then played a bit with clone tool removing a few "cut balloons" and the part of land at the bottom
also added saturation
