we always have the land (122) mbrito
(11388) | A traditional country house of centre/north of Portugal with a small farm, were life follows the rhythms of the nature and the agricultural activity.
There, people wake up before the sunrise and go to sleep with the sunset.
There, people laugh with the richness of the land, or cry with its misfortune.
Looking at these familiar farms and to the people who give it life I understand Vivien Leigh in “Gone with the wind”, when, seeing her burning house, said: “... we always have the land!”.
The crises time the world lives today, is hour burning house; maybe it’s time to remember that whisper of hope: «... we always have the land!....».
