Salmon Fisher (4)

This was taken on a day out I was heading to Lindisfarne but stopped of at a lay-by near the junction pool where the Tweed and Teviot rivers merge. I could not focus on the water bailiff and the man fishing for salmon as the boat was constantly on the move so tried to do my best
.
I tried to get the horizon straight in this shot but ended up with the river looking as if it was going uphill so decided to leave as is. I know I will be critiqued harshly because of this but this is a personal choice and I hope that you can understand that. I have done a workshop to show what I mean.

A very Merry Christmas and a Guid New Year to everyone that I have met on this site take care.

Thanks in advance for any critiques and or comments.

Tried straightening the horizon

I think the rise in the fg and the widening of the far river bank is deceptive. I also sharpened the picture and added a black frame. I hope you like.
Warm regards

Straightened

As you can see I have straightened the horizon but the water is now flowing uphill I personally think it is has ruined what I wanted to achieve in the first place.
