Still part of my Gumasa trip. I was planning to use "Liquid into Gas" as title but I think its too nerdy LOL!
Tech
- tripod
- Hoya CPL (always shoot with it)
- Cokin GND4 Medium (+2 f/stops)
- white balance set to CLOUDY (I forgot to reset it from the sunset shoot the previous day, I'm glad I didn't)
These rocks were not present during my sunset shoot the previous day and I was glad the tide was receding, at least now I have something interesting for my foreground.
The choice of shutter speed was deliberate. I don't want to "flatten" the water too much. I decided on not using my ND8 (+3 stops) to retain some detail and traces of "movement" in the waves. |
