Workshop Note
This is the spare room where I set up the camera to shoot the butterfly emerging from the chrysalis. I am looking through a wall mirror.

The pot with the Swan plant in is sitting on top of the cat's scratching pole. It was a good height to take the photos, and when I used the flash it was far enough away so that the shadows didn't strike the wall.

You can see the empty shell of the chrysalis that the butterfly came out of, and there is also another pale green one on the branch below the butterfly.

Note how bare the Swan plant looks - all the leaves have been eaten, but new growth has started and if I protect it from any new caterpillars it should bush up again in another few weeks.
