The Wedding Photographer (16)

One of the guys that works for me got married last October, he had plenty of photographers to cover the event, but I brought my camera just in case I might see something for me.

Kevin thought ahead about how he wanted his wedding album to look. He hired a couple pros, let a couple friends practice and also left disposable cameras on each table at the reception so he would have plenty of choice. It worked out for me, too, because as the night wore on and folks left (it was a work night), his new step-daughter noticed that there was plenty of film left over in those disposables. Peyton started shooting those up and pretty soon the other kids got in on the fun. Peyton took her job as de facto wedding photographer seriously, as you can tell in this candid grab shot.

The other little girl was posing like she was Madonna or something! I don't know how many times Peyton took her picture before I noticed and quickly grabbed my camera - I was lucky to get this one.

I bounced my flash off the ceiling so I could preserve the tones of the kid's skin and Peyton's silk dress.

Hope you enjoy it!

Toning down the sunburn

I de saturated 15 points. And I shifted color away from purple and more to a natural skin color. The other seems overly saturated...but then again, it could be me!
