Experiment: I tried this view and this "decisive moment", catching undoubtedly a tourist with his bag, 99.99% holding video camera, and souvenir photos and magnets on the background (quintessence of a touristic place), to result in something unusual.

I personally like the pattern of the pavement here.

I cropped the outside gave a backlight to the whole composition and then played with the contrasts and the colors. Kept the beautiful paved fg and added a simple frame

First of all, I straightened it, then added a little contrast and saturation. Then sharpened.
