I was away for a break to York for 4 days so had to take some shots like the view of the minster from just outside the Gilly gate wich leads into the city did very little pp work basicily resized added a slight frame and posted
YORK MINSTER
is the largest medievel gothic cathedral in Northern Europe not all catheredals are minsters and not all minsters are cathredals but this York is both .
A CATHEREDAL is the mother church of the diocese .It is where the bishop has his seat which is only to befound ina catheredal York minster is the cathredal church of the diocese of York .A minster was the anglo saxon name for a missionary church -a church bulit as a new christian centre for workship .the first minster in York was built as a centre in 627ad
the towers you see are the western towers hieght approx

Because the Minster is surrounded by houses on all sides it impossible to get a clear shot but I have cropped the houses on the right and a little sky which I hope has made the Minster look bigger and the houses less distracting. I hope you like.

Sharpening, levels

I opened it in Photoshop and used the magic selector tool and only sharpened the cathedral. I did a slight adjustment to correct the perspective, adjusted the brightness just a tad and this is what I got. Hope you find it helpful.
