Aesculus hippocastanum
Od prawie 10 lat zdrowie kasztanowców jest poważnie zagrożone przez motyla szrotówka kasztanowcowiaczka. Jego żerowanie powoduje, że drzewa powtórnie kwitną jesienią. Dla drzewa to ogromny wysiłek, który je osłabia i naraża na przemarzanie. W efekcie wiele kasztanowców ginie. Zagrożenie przyjęło tak wielkie rozmiary, że powołano krajowy Program Ochrony Kasztanowców.
To zdjęcie zrobiłam w Radomiu. Drzewa kasztanowca są leczone, stąd widoczne owinięcia folią na pniach. W WS pokazalam zbliżenie.

Horse-chestnut or Conker tree
Aesculus hippocastanum
For almost 10 years the health of horse chestnuts is in danger seriously by the butterfly "shrotovek kashtanovcoviatshek" - in polish. Preying is causing him that trees for the second time are blooming in autumn. For the tree immense effort which he is eating is undermining it and he is exposing to freezing. In the end many horse chestnuts are dying. The risk adopted such great sizes that a domestic conservation programme of horse chestnuts had been appointed.
I did this photograph in Radom. Trees of the horse chestnut are undergoing treatment, hence visible of wrapping up with foil on trunks. In WS I demonstrated the closeness. |
