These days, the falls flows like its normal self only when it rains heavily or on one of the 26 weekends where water is released to let daring kayakers run the white water.
This photo was taken Easter 2008 when there was a water release, I happened to be there when this guy went over the falls in his kayak, he did survive.
In the work shop is a photo of the top of the falls when the water flow is controlled. |
