While my kids were playing at Bledsoe-Miller park here in Waco, I saw this little guy running around. I talked to him and his mother and snapped this impromptu portrait at the opening of one of the tunnels.

I'm still waiting to bump into his mom again (we saw each other twice before this image was made) to give her a copy.

Workshop includes an image taken 10 minutes prior to demonstrate the lighting problems inside this particular tunnel.

Post Processing:
After importing this photo into Lightroom 2, I bumped up the exposure slightly and then had to pull back the highlights a little. I sharpened, added a vignette, and output to JPG.

This photo of my son was taken not more than 10 minutes before the posted image. You can see how bright the area outside the tunnel is and how distracting it can get. It's unfortunate, because it really limits my photographing techniques when my kids are at the park.
