Got a new toy the other day and was trying it out. This is one of the very first shots I took with it, so it's not perfect.

I convinced my son to stand still for about 0.07 nanoseconds (which must have roughly equated to my shutter speed) and popped off this quick portrait in front of our north-facing bow window.

Post-processing in Lightroom 2:
* Pulled highlights back
* Pushed blacks up
* Added contrast to compensate
* Added clarity, vibrance, and saturation
* Output to JPG

In response to Rew's comment on my last photo, I decided to warm this one up a bit. That's in the workshop. Please let me know what you think.

I first added red and yellow, then I finish with a small amount of magenta...to suppress the green.
Selective color, add density in red. Sharpen 100%

Opened this in Camera RAW via Adobe Bridge and used the Recovery slider to add detail to the underexposed portions of his face.

Was the original too cold?
