Every so often I like to throw myself under the bus! Do something different. Do something that most people might not like. My thought here is to challenge you to bust out of the "pixel" madness and go back to your roots. To where you came from. I will add this to my theme "Technical Nightmare", photos that have emotional impact, but technically the nay-sayers will have a stroke over.

This is C-41 process, 120mm Medium Format Film. Shot in a dark room. YES....it's grainy (it's film!)..... it's dark, blah blah. What does the photo bring up for you?
For me, a rarely get a shot at my daughter these days, she is off to college. But this past Memorial Day weekend she was home and I had a little leverage, she wants to shop, Mama wants to shoot...we make a trade. (blackmail, I know)

I took the film in and had it placed on a CD for processing. Out of a roll of 15 probably half came out well enough to post. I'm happy with my portrait experiements!
Have a great day!

I couldn't resist! I added more contrast, darkened a tad, softened a touch... a little variation. :) Lisa
