Lopstick Lodge in New Hampshire is situated close to the Canadian border. In the eastern corner of the U.S. it also borders Vermont and Maine. Lopstick is a Canadian word for trees that have been trimmed of all but their utmost branches to serve as a landmark or marker. This view is taken from the lodge looking out to First Connecticut lake. In the foreground is a small trout pond.

Saturated and added contrast-- Enjoy your day !
