This is Esmark Glacier, one of the many glacier in Svalbard. By this time of the year, the ice is melting and the ice plaques on the top of the sea are drifting away. Permafrost phenomena can be found in here and very special polar vegetation growth over the incredibly shot summer season
Even in high summer ;) ice doesn't melt completely making of it an extraorinary scene...
Once uopn an time Svalbard Archipelado was in the same latitude as Danmark. During te eras it went drifting away... today Svalbard is still driting upwars, and it may reach the permanet polar cape at some point in the future...

This is the same spot from the original photo. i just used a differnet composition. Here i adjusted teh levels a bit since it was a bit overexposed- fisrt shot was this one ;)
