The final installment of the collaboration of JP and I.

You can see JP'S VERSION HERE which is a reflection of that scooter and includes both of us in the process of taking these pictures.

This was shot on Cornealia street in the West Village, where my father actually has an apartment. The street is quaint and lined with cute little restaurants.

Composition wise I liked this because of the parking meter and street sign complimenting each other, leaning in different directions.

I also have a nice shot straight on of just the building and the woman bending over to pet that stray cat, which I may post at another time.

Tech notes: Adjusted curves, contrast increase. A bit of grain added which is something I usually do with B&W only but I liked the outcome here.

Thanks for your comments on this series, it was fun.

Of course I did not crop the photo after correcting so you could see the effect it does.

I think I did it a little too much but this is using the Filter->Distort->Lens Correction filter.
