| First I straightened the horizon by half a degree, then cropped away most of the sky and foreground. I wanted the sea to get the most emphasis and didn't feel that the sky added anything to the image. With the Shadow/Highlight adjustment tool in PS CS, I increased detail I brightened up the photo overall, plus I used the dodge tool at 20% to paint over some of the highlights. Sharpened slightly. |
