I was out walking while our system was down at work and went into the local knitting shop and took several pictures of the skeins of yarn. I loved the range of colors and the texture of the yarn.

I added a little contrast to brighten the colours or rather deepen them a bit. Then I added a plain black frame to emphasize the variety of colours and did a 50% unsharp mask to save it for the web.
