Confession: I have some problems with this shot's levels and contrast. And it looks different in different monitors because of calibration. And the the day i took it was so cloudy with grey tones. Will be glad if you fix it, i've lost my patience :)

And i give this title to make smile to Wong. I know that he's feverish fan of Lord of the Rings...

**info**
This shot is taken in Istanbul, in garden of Ihlamur Pavillions.
This golden leaf belongs to a special tree. It’s a gift from China in Ottoman Empire time, called Ginko biloba. I admire its yellow leaves and I learned that fruit of it is used as medicine. (But i smelt it, its so stinky!!!)

Contrast Technique
Edited by:seneca77 Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Star Workshop Editor/Gold Note Writer [C: 298 W: 89 N: 369] (2097)

I wanted to deepen the contrast by just using the Unsharp Mask tool in Photoshop CS. I ran the image through the filter twice: first at a setting of 15/100/0 (percent, radius, threshold) and again at 60/0.5/0. The first pass makes the image "pop", adding a lot of contrast, and the second is for more traditional sharpening. I often use this technique when rendering a photo in black & white, and later go over selected areas with the blur and dodge tools.
