![Gold Star Critiquer/Gold Note Writer [C: 249 W: 4 N: 102]](http://i1.treklens.com/misc/g-n-g.gif) (960) | This photo was taken along the Wisconsin side of Mississippi River, my college town of Winona is on the opposite side. All along this area of the river there are these river house boats where people live all year long. Some a very nice looking whereas others look as if they are composed of the most random materials and held together with tape, glue, and string. This particular one would be an in between one.
I believe this photo was taken with Kodak max 100 B&W film. Shutter speed and F-stop are unknown.
I scanned this image at 600 dpi using my HP psc 1210v all-in-one. In PS I used auto contrast to increase the tonal range. I also used the healing tool to get rid of some of the inconsistancies (dust, reflections, etc) scanned with the image. Finally, I cropped the image to remove some excess empty water and sky to the left of the structure. |
