i'd like to introduce you to one of my favourite spots in Perugia.. discovered thanks to a really lovely afternoon last friday spent with my dearest Edie in that beautiful elegant city full of little suprises and secret corners that hold wonderful sights and stories..
other than being enchanting in it's own right and tucked away in a beautiful atmospheric part of the city full of visual pleasures and a rich sense of history.. this is no ordinary arch... Edie tells me that according to legend, if you pass through it true love will be yours forever... (hence the title) so needless to say i did not let that opportunity escape ^_^
no real PP here other than the usual b&w convertion, USM and levels boost.. my passion for black and white made me choose the convertion however it must be noted that the stripes here on the arch, as you'll find throughout Perugia, are in wonderful pink and white marble and also a joy to the eyes for this.. so i've added the original as a workshop so you can see the colours too.
