As the Trees Lead the Way (63) Maria74
(5997) | Ok, I was cheating with the title...this is not a forest, it's a beautiful yard of one of the high-schools in my town. My daughter and me went there today for a walk, she brought some sugar lumps for the horse they keep (it's an agricultural school), and Mum brought the camera (of course).
Walking along this path, I remembered one of the pictures that Jos (reddevil) made...actually, I am ashamed to mention it as I don't even THINK to compare the two. His Morning Walk is, IMHO, a masterpiece.
As it was cloudy and gloomy day,and my camera quite lousy, I applied some PP work to make the light 'less ordinary', and hopefully add some mood. Midnight sepia filter, darkening the edges, slight sharpening, resizing.
I thank Michael Weber mwebr for the new title. Thanks Mike! |

I cropped the right side and some of the top, because my eye kept wanting to go to the dark area. Your daughter is now centered, but I don't think it matters much here. Hope you like it!
